The R2 is a powerful and very compact mobile impact crusher on tracks. It completes the Keestrack impact crusher product range with a very compact unit. The R2 is also used in city centers, where high flexibility and mobility are essential. The R2 is easy to operate and, as an all-electric version, meets the demand for plug-in construction machines in many cities. Depending on the feed material and final grain size, the R2 has an output of up to 150 t/h. The design features of the crusher are similar to the award-winning larger R3 impact crusher. The hopper (3m³) with integrated vibrating feeder (3,300 x 810mm) and pre-screen (1,250 x 810mm) is also asymmetrically designed to feed the material smoothly into the crusher. The newly designed rotor with a width of 840 mm and a diameter of 920 mm is made of Hardox steel. The rotor has the same low-wear design concept as the larger R3, R5 and R6. The rotor speed is variable so that the plant can cope with a wide range of applications.
The R2 impact crusher, complete with secondary screen (3,040 x 1,200 mm), oversize grain return belt, magnetic separator and air classifier, has a total weight of less than 27 t and a transport length of 13.05 m. The return belt can also be moved to the outside. The return conveyor can also be pivoted outwards to be used as a stockpile conveyor for the oversize grain. With the choice of diesel-hydraulic drive, the R2 is powered by the new DEUTZ TCD 5.2 L4 engine, which is very efficient, powerful and clean. It applies to all EU Stage V and US EPA Tier 4 and can be operated with ecological biodiesel.
