The innovative R3 impact crusher has won several European design awards, the most prestigious of which is the Red Dot Award. The crusher is very compact and easy to transport and is also available in a fully electric plug-in drive with an output of up to 250 t/h.
The R3 is equipped with a vibrating feeder with a large integrated pre-screen of 1,200 mm x 920 mm to minimize wear and increase throughput.
The feed chute is asymmetrical, which allows longer feed pieces to be turned. The crusher inlet is 770 mm x 960 mm (H x W). The heavy-duty rotor with a diameter of 1,100 mm and a width of 920 mm produces high-quality end products with low wear.
The crusher is equipped with a double-deck precision screen measuring 3,100 mm x 1,400 mm and the oversize material runs back into the crusher in a closed circuit via the return belt, so that defined and high-quality aggregate sizes are produced. The system is also equipped with a wind sifter, which removes foreign matter such as plastic, wood or paper from the material. The overbelt magnet installed removes ferrous metals from the crushed material. The R3 weighs around 33 t including all options.
The R3 is also equipped with a remote control so that it can be controlled by the excavator driver from his cabin. The R3 has an integrated water spray system that can be used to keep dust down. The R3 is also equipped with a so-called "Keestracker", a UMTS/GPS system. This telematics system provides real-time data and analysis as well as the exact location of the machine. Many parameters can be checked remotely and maintained remotely if necessary. It is possible to carry out diagnostic tests on all components such as the feed hopper, crusher, secondary screen and conveyor belts. The "Keestracker" is also well suited for maintenance planning via Oppermann & Fuss and helps to keep the machine in optimal condition and increase uptime.
